I began my career training at RMS Accountants, where I built a strong foundation in accounting and finance. Wanting to expand my expertise, I moved to Haines Watts to deepen my financial reporting skills. This role gave me the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, helping me develop a keen eye for detail and a structured approach to financial management.

From there, I joined Intertrust Group (now CSC), where I became part of the corporate services team. This role allowed me to gain valuable experience in corporate structures and financial operations at an international level. Working with a global client base broadened my perspective and helped me develop a strategic approach to accounting.

Now at VPC, I lead the corporate services and group reporting team. My specialism involves overseeing financial reporting, corporate compliance, and accounting processes across multiple entities within the group. I ensure that financial statements are accurate, regulatory requirements are met, and reporting structures support the company’s strategic goals. I also work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights that drive decision-making. A key part of my role is streamlining financial operations and implementing best practices to improve efficiency and transparency within the group.

What Do You Love About Working At VPC?
One of the things I enjoy most about VPC is the diversity of clients and industries we work with. Every day brings a new challenge, whether it’s working on financial reports for a large corporation or helping a growing business streamline its accounting processes. The team here is a fantastic mix of experienced professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and insight, alongside emerging talent from our graduate scheme, who bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. It’s this balance of expertise and new energy that makes VPC such a great place to work.

What Is Your Biggest Achievement?
Without a doubt, my biggest achievement is my children. Balancing my career, professional exams, my husband, our kids, and managing a household all at the same time has been a challenge, but one I’ve truly thrived on. Multitasking has become second nature to me, and I enjoy the fast-paced nature of both my work and home life. I take pride in knowing that I’ve been able to progress in my career while also being there for my family, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

What Are Your Hobbies?
When I do get some time for myself, I love all things fashion and keeping up with the latest trends. I also enjoy unwinding with a great Netflix series, though that usually happens after I’ve finished running around after the kids. Finding those little moments of relaxation and personal enjoyment is important, and I always make sure to fit them in where I can.
