Office Administrator
Malika Osmani
I recently joined VPC Accountants as an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist. Prior to working here, I finished school at 16 and decided to take a slightly different path from the traditional route of university and student loans. Instead, I chose to gain practical experience by exploring different roles and opportunities while continuing my education at college. Alongside completing college, I began training and launched my own small business as an Eyelash Technician. Managing my own business has helped me develop many which I now bring into my role at VPC.
What Do You Love About Working At VPC?
I value how welcoming and supportive the team at VPC Accountants has been. As someone who hadn’t previously worked in a professional office environment, starting a new role could have felt quite nerve-wracking. However, the team made the transition incredibly smooth and have been encouraging from the very beginning. I feel supported at every step of my journey here. Working at VPC is a rewarding experience that continues to help me grow both personally and professionally.
What Is Your Biggest Achievement?
One of my biggest achievements is becoming independent from a young age, which has contributed to many other milestones in my life. For example, I passed my driving test at 18, which I fully funded myself by taking the initiative and working towards that goal. I also independently started and run my own business as an eyelash technician. Through these experiences, I have developed strong confidence and communication skills, allowing me to easily build relationships, meet new people, and create new opportunities for myself.
What Are Your Hobbies?
I enjoy visiting new food spots with my friends and cannot say no to getting a matcha. Fitness is an important part of my routine, and I regularly enjoy going to the gym. I also enjoy creative activities, exploring new ventures, and travelling whenever I have the opportunity. Most importantly, I value spending quality time with my friends and family.
