Prinal Nathwani

I am a Partner at VPC, and specialise in VAT and Indirect Taxes, with a particular focus on Indirect Tax disputes.

I am a qualified Solicitor, and have over 13 years’ experience within the “Big 4”, advising businesses of all sizes on VAT and Indirect Tax issues. I also have extensive experience advising clients on Plastic Packaging Taxes, having completed a secondment with a UK based pharmaceutical multinational developing Plastic Packaging Tax processes and controls.

I support clients on a range of VAT and Indirect Tax issues, including general VAT advisory work, VAT investigations, other Indirect Tax advisory work and disputes, reviewing and developing processes and controls, and managing and resolving VAT and Indirect Tax disputes with HMRC.

VAT rules are often complex and murky. Whether it is a question of VAT liability, a dispute with HMRC, or even a more general question about any other Indirect Tax, get in touch and I’d be happy to discuss.

What Do You Love About Working At VPC?
In the world of indirect taxes and VAT, everyday is a new challenge or battle. I enjoy getting to grips with it all and working with our lovely clients. The team are highly experienced and knowledgeable, making it easier to navigate this difficult field.

What Is Your Biggest Achievement?
One must refer to my lovely family and the birth of my son Theo. Professionally it will be qualifying as a lawyer and joining VPC as a partner.

What Are Your Hobbies?
Outside of work, a large part of my time is taken up being a dad, with a smattering of gym time, cooking, reading and travelling keeping me busy outside of this.
